DETROIT — Harness, Dickey and Pierce, PLC have named Glenn E. Forbis as partner in the firm’s Troy office.
Forbis is a first chair litigator with more than 20 years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in patent and trademark cases around the country, many of which involved damages in excess of $50 million. In addition to his trial experience, Forbis has substantial experience representing clients in appellate courts, including the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as well as in contested matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He advises clients in creating and executing intellectual property strategies and effective risk management.
Forbis has a J. D., cum laude; an M.B.A. with honors; and a bachelor of science in electrical engineering summa cum laude; all from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
