The Big Head Corps, a group of young professionals that help to support The Parade Company by raising funds for the preservation of its papier mache head collection, held its annual Big Heads and Baseball event on Sept. 22 at The Town Pump Tavern in downtown Detroit, followed by the Tigers vs. White Sox game.
The Distinguished Clown Corps held its annual Distinguished Grand Jester’s Reception to kick-off the parade season with veteran clowns and potential new members at The Reserve at Big Rock Chophouse in Birmingham on Sept. 30.
The CFA Society of Detroit, an association of certified financial investors, held its annual golf outing at the Plum Hollow Golf Course in Southfield on Aug. 31. Guests enjoyed 18 holes of golf, dinner, and drinks.
The Detroit Young Professionals held its fifth annual Vanguard Awards dinner to honor the efforts of young professionals and entrepreneurs growing and excelling in their respective fields on Oct. 1 at the Max M. Fisher Music Center in Detroit. Guests enjoyed a plated dinner, an open bar, and live entertainment.
