New CFO of Dakkota Integrated Systems Announced

Tier 1 automotive component manufacturer Dakkota Integrated Systems has announced Gary Caldwell as new chief financial officer. In his new role, which he took over in February, Caldwell reports to COO of Dakkota, Mark McCauley. Previously, Caldwell served as corporate controller of Dakkota. He is based at the firm’s corporate offices in Brighton.

Caldwell brings 25 years of accounting experience to his new position and is responsible for all monetary and fiscal functional areas. Additionally, he and McCauley will be in charge of the company’s overall strategic direction. He will also oversee all financial performance metrics, annual business planning, and forecast modeling.

“I look forward to this new opportunity at Dakkota, and I fully expect to build upon an already solid foundation of supplier excellence and a strong, high-performing culture,” says Caldwell. “As the industry’s landscape continues to change, we will adapt and grow along with our customers.”

Caldwell earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Western Michigan University.

Dakkota Integrated Systems, a joint venture established in 2001 between majority partner Rush Group LLC and Magna International Inc., manages the complete complex assembly and sequencing of integrated automotive commodities for OEMs.
