Workforce Development Agency Names New Director

Stephanie Beckhorn, who as been serving as acting director of the Michigan’s Workforce Development Agency, has been named its director.

Beckhorn has 15 years of experience in workforce and economic development. In her most recent roles at the agency, she developed policies that align with and support the state’s key workforce development strategies. S

he worked directly with local, state, and federal partners to implement key workforce and education programs, including the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Wagner-Peyser, Adult Education, the Trade Act, and others.

Beckhorn, of Williamston, earned her bachelor’s in parks and recreation resource from Michigan State University and is a Certified Business Solutions Professional.
