QStride Plans Event to Mark Opening of New HQ in Detroit

QStride, a technology solutions provider will host an exclusive event titled “Running With the Resurgence,” in celebration of relocating its corporate headquarters from Troy to downtown Detroit at the One Woodward Avenue Building.

The event, a benefit for the American Cancer Society, is expected to attract technology and business leaders from downtown and the surrounding Detroit area, and will include a “dream team” panel discussion moderated by R.J. King, editor of DBusiness on Detroit’s burgeoning high-tech corridor, the city’s resurgence, and why now is the time to be a part of America’s comeback city. DBusiness will also serve as the official media partner of “Running With The Resurgence.”

Panelists include: Jacques Panis, president of Shinola; Garret Gaw, senior technology manager and Detroit site lead of Amazon; Jill Ford, Mayor Mike Duggan’s special adviser and head of Innovation and entrepreneurship for the city of Detroit; and Shane Gianino, CEO of QStride.

Following the panel discussion, the event will include a VIP afterglow and networking reception with hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and tours of QStride’s new office space located on the 16th floor of One Woodward Avenue.

“This panel speaks volumes about what is happening in the city and the impact tech solutions companies like QStride are having on the economic growth of Detroit,” Gianino says.

The event takes place  May 4 in the Beacon Room, located on the second floor of One Woodward Avenue. Registration and networking begins at 4:30 p.m. with the panel discussing starting promptly at 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The VIP afterglow and networking reception will follow from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with tours of QStride’s offices.
