Mercedes-Benz Names Vice President of Financial Services

Geoff Robinson,vice president of marketing and chief digital officer of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, has been promoted to vice president of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services.

Robinson will be responsible for financing and leasing-related sales, marketing and dealer relations activities of Mercedes-Benz and smart products in the U.S. He will also become a member of the company’s Americas region executive leadership team. He will
be based in the company’s regional headquarters in Farmington Hills.

Robinson joined the company in 1990 as an area manager for Mercedes-Benz Finance in the U.K. Since then, he has held several roles of increasing responsibility in both the U.S. and the U.K., including: vice president of sales, marketing and remarketing for Daimler Truck Financial (U.S.); managing director of Daimler fleet management in the U.K.; and general manager of sales for Daimler Financial Services in the U.K.

In the community, he serves as co-president of the Farmington & Farmington Hills Foundation.

Robinson, of Franklin, has a bachelor’s in social sciences and legal studies from Sheffield Hallam University in England.
