International Automotive Components Europe Names New President


Kelli Carney

 Kelli Carney has been promoted to president International Automotive Components Europe, a global for automotive interior components supplier, with North America headquarters in Southfield. 

Carney is responsible for overseeing all primary central business functions for the European region, including commercial, engineering, operations, quality, and procurement. She will also be responsible for global procurement, a role that carries over from her previous position as senior vice president of procurement and information technology. She will relocate to the company’s European regional headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Carney brings 30 years of automotive industry experience and a strong background in operations management to the role. Prior to joining IAC, she served in several leadership roles at Lear Corp., including vice president of DaimlerChrysler platforms, director of pre-production planning for the interior systems division, and platform director for General Motors midsize vehicles and purchasing commodity manager.

Carney, of Grosse Pointe, earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit.
