Michelle Brown, a nearly 15 year employee of Butzel Long, has been promoted to chief financial officer of the Detroit-based law firm. She previously was the firm’s director of finance.
Previously, Brown, was in the food and beverage industry for nearly 10 years. For two years, she was the accounting manager for HMSHost, located at Detroit Metro Airport, which operates a significant number of food and beverage establishments inside airports nationwide. She began her career at Little Caesar Enterprises where she was a regional controller for company owned stores.
Brown, of Clinton Township, earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Master of Business Administration from Walsh College.
