BIRMINGHAM —The District Lofts, Birmingham’s first loft community that opened in 2008, will officially break ground on Tuesday on Phase 2 of the development.
Raising the bar for modern urban living with a distinct neighborhood feel, The District Lofts in Birmingham’s emerging Rail District and is surrounded by art galleries, antique shops and restaurants. Located minutes from downtown, residents are offered a living experience like no other. Phase 2 will include leasing opportunities on 18 spacious residential loft homes featuring 2-bedroom/2-bath; and 2-bedroom 2 1/2 bath floor plans. Units will range in size from 1,300 to 2,300 square feet. The first floor of the building will include a combination of commercial and retail space available for lease.
The ground-breaking ceremony will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 375 South Eton St. There will be complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverage favorites prepared by the staff at Big Rock Chophouse and have the opportunity to meet the owners and developers behind The District Lofts.
