Amherst Partners Names New Associates to Birmingham Office

BIRMINGHAM — Amherst Partners LLC, an investment banking, corporate restructuring, and management advisory firms, has named Maxim Ananich and Ryan McLean as associates to the firm’s Birmingham office.

 Ananich, of Royal Oak, specializes in providing restructuring and investment banking services to public and private companies across a wide range of industries. Previously, Ananich, a Certified Public Accountant, served as an analyst in the business valuation group of a Midwest-based financial services firm. He has advisory experience across industries that include technology, automotive, manufacturing and retail.

Ananich earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in accounting, with a specialization in taxation and information systems from Michigan State University.  

McLean, right, of Grosse Pointe Park, specializes in providing transactional advisory services to owners of closely-held businesses, including sell-side, buy-side and cross-border financial advisory services, in addition to providing assistance with strategic assessments, corporate divestitures, and fairness opinions.  McLean’s experience encompasses a wide range of industries, including financial services, transportation and warehousing, marketing and advertising, automotive suppliers and dealerships, manufacturing, oil and gas, steel, telecommunications, and wholesale/distribution.

McLean served as an analyst in the dispute advisory and forensic services group of a national financial advisory firm. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in finance and a Master of Science in finance attended Walsh College.
