American House Continues Expansion Throughout Midwest

BLOOMFIELD HILLS — American House Senior Living Communities acquired Cedarlake Village in Illinois, continuing expansion throughout the Midwest.

“American House Senior Living Communities, continues aggressive expansion throughout the Midwest,” says Dale Watchowski, CEO of REDICO and American House Senior Living Communities. “American House Cedarlake is the seventh senior living acquisition within the past six months. Additionally, 10 projects are in various stages of development in Michigan and Florida.”

The new property has two buildings with 178 one-bedroom apartments for independent living. One of the buildings will be licensed and converted for assisted living.

During the spring, the community will add a dining room, fitness center, game room, and a café. Along with the renovations, life enrichment directors will be planning social, cultural, and educational programs for the residents.
