MACKINAC ISLAND — Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island heads into the 2014 season with the addition of four new team members: Kerri Malinovich as corporate director, sales, marketing & revenue management; Stacey Ogden as corporate director of marketing; Kim Corcoran as corporate sales manager; and Laura Muma of LMPR Inc., to provide public relations support.

As corporate director, Malinovich works with General Manager Bradley McCallum, to oversee all sales, marketing and revenue management for the resort. Prior to joining the Mission Point team, Malinovich spent a decade with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, most recently as manager of Revenue Management Systems, working in sales, marketing, and revenue teams nationally.

Ogden joins the Resort in conjunction with her role as corporate director of marketing for Mission Point’s sister property, The Chanler at Cliff Walk in Newport, R.I. Her background includes hospitality and sports marketing, including work with Patriot Place, home of the New England Patriots. For Mission Point, Ogden  will provide marketing insight and support as the team develops its cohesive marketing strategy.

Corcoran previously launched Destination Michigan in 2004, a meetings management company,  and then created Meetings Michigan, a statewide organization of hotels, resorts, and convention and visitors bureaus. Her hospitality and industry insight will be a key asset for driving Mission Point’s corporate group and transient business growth.

A public relations consultant, Muma will provide public relations strategy and brand development to showcase Mission Point as a top family, wedding and vacation getaway  destination. She brings 20 years of experience building brands and creating compelling content across multiple industries including hospitality, entertainment, and retail, in addition to her insider knowledge of the Midwest and northern Michigan.
