McLaren Health Names New Chief Operating Officer

FLINT — Mark O’Halla has been promoted to executive vice president and COO of McLaren Health Care from president and CEO of McLaren Macomb.

In his new role, O’Halla of Troy will oversee all hospital and related subsidiary operations across the organization, including McLaren Medical Group, the employed physician network. He will work to establish systemwide goals with regard to quality outcomes, patient experience initiatives, and financial performance. Additionally, he will develop and implement plans and policies in collaboration with McLaren leadership, and serve as a liaison between McLaren Health Care and various community, public, and governmental organizations.

As president and CEO of McLaren Macomb, O’Halla had an integral role in making many leading-edge health care treatments and technologies available to Macomb County residents. A search is in progress for his successor.

O’Halla earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Rochester in New York and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Toledo.
