DETROIT —Health Management Systems of America recently promoted Beth Combs to vice president of clinical operations.
Combs’ responsibilities include management of program and operational staff including member services, provider relations and clinical teams; providing clinical oversight and direction to Employee Assistance Programs throughout southeast Michigan, as well as gambling treatment services throughout Michigan.
Most recently, Combs served as clinical manager. She also played a part in procuring the State of Michigan Community Health Gambling Treatment and Help-line Program.
Combs, of Highland, has more than 25 years of counseling experience. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan and is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She received a Bachelor of Science in human resources Development and a Master of Arts in counseling, both from Oakland University in Rochester.
