DETROIT, Michigan, April 29, 2011 — At a time when funding cuts threaten the very existence of arts organizations, a talented group of young professionals is taking the lead to fill funding gaps left by state budget cuts and reductions in corporate sponsorship. The young professionals group of the Michigan Opera Theatre Volunteer Association hopes to raise more than $250,000 at the 12th annual BravoBravo!, taking place this year from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Friday, June 3, 2011, at the Detroit Opera House (1526 Broadway, Detroit).

BravoBravo! 2011: On Location salutes Michigan’s film industry, and guests will experience movie magic as glamour moves off the silver screen and into the opulent Detroit Opera House. Three of Detroit’s most involved young professionals co-chair one of Detroit’s hottest and most-anticipated cultural events of the year: Dominic Arellano, Piper Carter and Jerrid Mooney.
