Huntington Bank Opens New Office in Canton, Michigan

TROY, Mich., March 5, 2009 – Huntington Bank is investing in Canton, Mich. with the opening of its second location in the township at Ford & Sheldon Road March 9, 2009. The doors will officially open at 9 a.m.
 
The new branch, located at 44530 Ford Road marks the 47th office in Southeast Michigan for Huntington.
 
“We are proud to continue to grow our presence in the region and in Canton with the opening of our second branch here,” said Rebecca Smith, Huntington regional president. “We are a bank invested in people and we look forward to further demonstrating our commitment to the community of Canton in our new location.”
 
To celebrate the opening of the new location, and in order to encourage community members to experience banking at Huntington, the branch is offering a $50 American Express GiftCard while supplies last to anyone who opens a qualifying account.
 
“We want more people in Canton to experience the exceptional personal service that sets Huntington apart,” Smith said.
 
The new office, managed by Janet Volante, will be open Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
