AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 19, 2009 – Plex Systems, Inc., today announced that Dennis Hodges, CIO of Inteva Products, LLC will speak at the upcoming IDC Software as a Service (SaaS) Summit about the benefits of implementing an on-demand integrated SaaS-based system.
His presentation will highlight Inteva’s IT strategies and successes following its January launch of Plex Online in two locations: European Headquarters and Technical Center in Wuppertal, Germany; and Matamoras Operations Plant 2 in Matamoras, Mexico. Inteva, an Interior Systems, Cockpits, Latch and Closure Systems, and Door Module and Window Lift Systems supplier for leading OEMs around the globe, selected Plex as its SaaS enterprise resource planning (ERP) manufacturing solution provider in 2008 following a competitive global search. The IDC SaaS Summit will take place Thursday, March 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York. Hodges’ presentation, “Integrating and Achieving Interoperability Across SaaS Platforms,” will take place at 4:30 p.m. He will discuss how Inteva realigned its IT strategy by replacing existing systems with software as a service (SaaS)-based systems and how the company addressed the integration of systems and software when implementing an on-demand model (Plex Online) with several SaaS implementations.
