“Toast for a Cure!” at Rugby Grille to Benefit Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan

Birmingham, Mich., April 22, 2009 – Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan has teamed up with the Rugby Grille in The Townsend Hotel to present “Toast for a Cure!” – a fundraiser for the foundation, aimed at providing personalized support to families impacted by leukemia and other related blood disorders.

From now through May 30, 2009, 50% of the proceeds from any bottle of wine purchased at the award-winning Rugby Grille in Birmingham will be donated to Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. In order to designate 50% of the bottle of wine purchase to the foundation, patrons should inform their server that they want to support the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan.

The Townsend Hotel, 100 Townsend St., Birmingham, is also the site for the CRUSH Birmingham 2009 Wine & Food Classic, a Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan fundraiser that will bring together world-renowned food and wine aficionados to demonstrate their skills for a good cause.
