Detroit-based Sachse Construction has announced Samantha Russo-Ardelean as the newest member of its business development department. She will spearhead commercial initiatives.

“We are excited to welcome Samantha to the Sachse team, and we feel she will live out our core values and be an asset as we pursue more commercial projects throughout Michigan and across North America,” says Todd Sachse, founder and CEO. “Her unique professional experience will guide her to establish lasting relationships with our community partners, which will have a positive impact on our firm and future commercial projects.”

In her new role, Russo-Ardelean will develop relationships and orchestrate commercial business development opportunities, including locating, developing, and defining business relationships for the team. Russo-Ardelean will provide strategic oversight and support through all phases of the construction process. She will report to Jay McKee, vice president and director of pre-construction.

Russo-Adrelean’s prior experience includes working as project manager of multimillion-dollar renovations in Detroit, along with taking on new business development and contract management roles. Previous projects include the renovations of the General Motors tech center in Warren and a multifamily new build project in Detroit.

Russo-Adrelean earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Bradley University in Illinois and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy.
