Detroit-based Dickinson Wright Names 5 Attorneys to Division Directors

Detroit’s Dickinson Wright PLLC has named five attorneys as division directors.

Harlan W. Robins, a member of the firm’s Columbus office, has been appointed director of the transactions division, which represents about 140 attorneys in six sub-groups: real estate, real estate finance, banking, corporate/mergers and acquisitions, and environmental and municipal finance. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Emory University School of Law.

Thomas G. McNeill, a member of the Detroit office, has been appointed director of the litigation division. He has more than 30 years of trial, litigation, and arbitration experience, focusing his practice on middle market business cases, automotive supply disputes, and complex financial litigation. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from the University of Virginia.

Philip E. Rettig of the Troy office has been appointed director of the intellectual property division. He focuses on patent, trademark, trade secret, and licensing matters with particular emphasis on the automotive industry. Rettig earned his bachelor’s degree from Kettering University and his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law.

Cynthia A. Moore, also of the Troy office, has been appointed director of the regulatory-administration division. She is an expert on fringe benefit plans and is counsel to plan sponsors in the design and administration of qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans. She also counsels companies and compensation committees. She earned her undergraduate degree from Alma College and her law degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

Stephen E. Richman, a member of the Pheonix office, has been appointed director of the industry practices division. He focuses on construction law, handling disputes and drafting and negotiating construction contracts for owners and general contractors. He earned his law degree from the University of California Hastings College of Law.
