Anthony Belloli Named CEO of Plante Moran Trust

Southfield-based Plante Moran Trust, a chartered trust company specializing in personal trust administration, announced that Anthony Belloli has assumed the role of CEO.

As CEO, Belloli is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of Plante Moran Trust and leading a team of more than 30 trust professionals who handle the administration of personal trusts and foundations, settlements of estates, and management of family office-bill pay arrangements.

Prior to Plante Moran Trust, Belloli served as senior advisor with Plante Moran Financial Advisors for seven years, where he provided investment, financial, estate tax, and income tax consulting to high net worth clients, families, and endowments. Belloli joined Plante Moran Trust in 2009 to develop a workplace culture that would attract talented staff, nurture referral sources, and improve internal processes. Since 2009, Plante Moran Trust’s annual revenue and assets have quadrupled and their number of staff has tripled.

Belloli replaces Gary Johnson as the organization’s CEO. Johnson joined the firm to start Plante Moran Trust in 2002 and will retire in June 2018.

Belloli graduated from Oakland University in 2002, receiving a bachelor’s degree in finance and a minor in applied technology in business. In 2005, he graduated from Wayne State University with a master’s degree in business administration. Belloli is a Certified Financial Planner Professional, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, and a Certified Investment Management Analyst. He is also a graduate of the ABA Trust School. Belloli is currently a resident of Oakland Township.
