Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss Partner Appointed to Turnaround Management Association Board of Directors

Eric Novetsky, a partner at Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss in Southfield, a business law firm, has been appointed to the Turnaround Management Association's Michigan board of directors, an organization dedicated to turnaround management, corporate restructuring, and distressed investing. Novetsky will be responsible for assisting in legal endeavors, advising, the education of members on turnaround management, and participating in board deliberations.

Novetsky, with more than 15 years of experience in business and law, specializes in representing lenders and borrowers at Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss in commercial loan transactions and litigation. He also represents creditors, creditors' committees and corporate debtors in bankruptcy proceedings, and property owners, managers, and lessees before the Michigan tax Tribunal and State Tax Commission in commercial property tax appeals.

Novetsky is the founding member of the board of directors for TMA's NextGen group and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and Federal Bar Association. 

Novetsky, of West Bloomfield, earned his Bachelor's of Arts in supply chain management from Michigan State University in Lansing, his Master's of Business Administration from the University of Michigan in Dearborn, and a juris doctor from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit.
