Christopher Soupal has been promoted to senior vice president and national sales director of the small business administration lending division at Crestmark Bank’s corporate location in Troy.
Soupal joined Crestmark two years ago as a business development officer, and has been responsible for helping with the launch of the bank’s SBA lending division and providing guidance on its business plan and operations. A year ago, he was promoted to first vice president and national sales director of the SBA lending division.
Soupal has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Before he joined Crestmark, he was managing director for Stinson Street Opportunity Capital. Earlier, he was the managing director at Red Ridge Finance Group, director at Bridge Finance Group, vice president at Lasalle Debt Capital Markets, and account executive at Finova Capital Corporation.
Soupal, of Grosse Pointe Park, earned a bachelor’s of accounting from Ferris State University, and has a certificate in executive management from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
