Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern will open its fourth Michigan location Thursday in Bingham Farms.
The Columbus-based restaurant will donate 20 percent of proceeds to Beyond Basics, a student-centered, literacy non-profit organization serving students in Detroit public schools by providing reading, tutoring and supplemental programs throughout the school day to students.
“It’s important to our team to get involved with the communities where we live and work; that’s especially true when we have the unique opportunity to partner with non-profit organizations like Beyond Basics that share our values,” says Gary Callicoat, president and founder of Rusty Bucket.
Rusty Bucket’s Bingham Farms location seats 78 guests in the main dining room and 58 guests in the bar area in a 5,500-square foot space. There is also a private dining room, which can accommodate up to 22 guests. The restaurant also has a 770-square foot four-season patio, with a large stonewall fireplace, which seats 54 guests and features two garage-style doors that open to the dining room for an open-air ambiance.
Rusty Bucket delivers classic American food. The menu features items like chicken fingers, meatloaf and macaroni ‘n cheese to  Mahi Mahi tacos, six different salads and a house-made veggie burger. For kids, there are menu items like grilled fish and a veggie pizza.
In addition to their entrée menu, Rusty Bucket also offers cocktails and has more than 85 beers and wines on their beverage menu. The Bingham Farms location will offer 24 beers on tap in the bar, including Frankenmuth and Griffin Claw.
