GM Names New Executive VP and President, South America

General Motors, South America, has named Barry Engle as the new executive vice president and president.

Engle will be responsible for operations in Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Columbia, and Venezuela. 

Engle, 51, formerly served as president of Ford of Brazil and Mercosul and director of marketing, sales and service for Ford of Brazil. 

Engle holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics, with a minor in Spanish, from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
