Scott Shuptrine Interiors Names Four New Interior Designers

WARREN — Scott Shuptrine Interiors, which has three luxury furniture galleries in Grand Rapids, Royal Oak, and Petoskey, has named four new interior designers to its company.

Whitney Kane, Patrick Adams, and Michelle Daniel have joined the Royal Oak office, and Ashley Whitley will work in Petoskey.

Kane is a Nashville native who received a degree in interior design from O’More College of Design in Franklin, Tenn. Kane resides in Royal Oak and has volunteered to design the company’s installation at this year’s DIFFA Dining by Design Detroit event in September. 

Adams of Berkely, who received a bachelor’s of fine art in painting and sculpture, comes to Scott Shuptrine Interiors after serving as an Interior Designer at Gorman’s for two years and Art Van Furniture for three years. 

Daniel has an extensive background in both interior design and style. She received a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University in interior design and an associate’s degree in interior architecture from Henry Ford Community College. Daniel formerly worked for nearly 10 years as a designer at Thomasville Furniture and nearly five years at Gorman’s Furniture. Daniel currently resides in Harper Woods. 

A graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in interior design, Whitley comes with experience in commercial and residential design, and project management. Whitley formerly worked for Periwinkle Lane Interiors as an interior designer and project manager. She has extensive experience visualizing, creating, and ordering custom upholstery and draperies. She resides in Boyne City.
