WARREN — ZIM’S Vodka, the ultra-premium, gluten-free Polish potato vodka, received multiple awards at the 2013 Spirits International Prestige (“SIP”) Awards — a distinguished spirits competition where the consumer palate is “King” and brands receive ratings based on merit rather than marketing — held at She by Morton’s in the fine dining district of Las Vegas. The panel of 70 judges awarded ZIM’S Vodka top honors among 306 spirit brands from more than 20 countries.

2013 SIP Awards given to ZIM’S Vodkas include:

  • TASTE

ZIM’S FIFTY-NINE (proof): Platinum
ZIM’S EIGHTY-ONE (proof): Bronze

  • BOTTLE DESIGN

ZIM’S FIFTY-NINE (proof): Bronze

The SIP Awards have become an increasingly popular and important international spirits competition. In addition to boosting brand recognition, SIP winners enjoy the power of consumer choice credibility.

“Consumers are the ultimate decision makers, and their honest opinions are something you just can’t buy,” says SIP Awards executive producer Paul Hashemi. “When you enter this competition, your spirit will be judged by a panel of consumers, not by industry insiders.”

Although hundreds of brands enter the SIP spirits competition, only brands with the highest scores receive honors. Rising above several hundred entrants, the winners in each SIP category have proven themselves superior to the competition, worthy of the high honors from an honest and impartial consumer base.

“After just 7 months on the market, it’s very rewarding to be recognized by such a prestigious organization,” said Bruce Carroll, chief sales officer, The Rebel Spirits Group, maker of ZIM’S Vodka. “While the bottle design award is great, we all know it’s about the juice inside, so anytime the consumer chooses your product as a winner…it just doesn’t get any better than that!”
