Mark Rose Honored for Lifetime Achievement in Event Planning

Detroit — Marc Rose (“Rosey”), Certified Special Events Professional, executive producer, and on-air talent with The Mitch Albom Show on WJR-760 AM in Detroit, was recently honored in Dallas for Lifetime Achievement from The International Special Events Society  as one of its founding members and past international presidents.

Rose, a nationally recognized event planner, was instrumental in bringing about the CSEP during his presidency.

“What started out as 40 professionals getting together to form a professional society has grown beyond our wildest expectations in terms of sheer membership numbers and ISES chapters around the world. I am honored and proud to be part of such a legacy,” says Rose.

With over 40 chapters and 6,000 members, The International Special Events Society is dedicated and educated to deliver creative excellence and professionalism in special events. Their mission is to educate, advance and promote the special events industry and its network of professionals along with related industries.

ISES, celebrating its 25th anniversary, is the professional organization for special event practitioners certifying its members with a Certified Special Events Professional designation (CSEP).
