WARREN—The Warren-based Lentine Group, a family of companies comprised of LeCom Inc., Golden Dental Plans and UnionCircle.com, will cut the ribbon marking the official opening of its newly-renovated Detroit Center of Operations at 1 p.m., Sept. 14.  The 32,000 square foot building, 5671 Trumbull (at Elijah McCoy), near Wayne State University will house:  LeCom Communications, LeCom Utility Contractors, Golden Dental Plans Marketing and UnionCircle.com.  It will be the new home for 100 current employees as well as approximately 100 new hires with skills ranging from software engineering to voice, video and data service technicians.

Reflecting on the significance of the move, Lentine Group CEO and founder, Sam Lentine, said, “We are very happy to return to our Trumbull Avenue facility. This move is reinvigorating our entire company and we look forward to the prospect of further expansion in the very near future.”

“We are pleased to be able to lend our support to the growing list of companies that are investing in the City’s turnaround,” said Joseph S. Lentine, president of LeCom Inc. and Golden Dental Plans.  “It also gives us a chance to renovate and make use of the building which my father, Sam Lentine, originally built in 1986 for the relocation to the City of L.C. Taylor Ambulance Service, a former Lentine Group company,” he continued.

According to Anthony Lentine, vice president of LeCom Inc. and Golden Dental Plans, approximately 100 employees have already re-located to the new facility, 50 new employees have been hired by LeCom with plans to hire about 50 new employees to support the relatively new venture, UnionCircle.com.  He said that the current headquarters for the Lentine Group in Warren will remain in operation for bookkeeping services and that the opening of the Detroit Center of Operations for the four companies will not affect any of the offices, warehouses and network affiliate locations that currently house local operations.
