Morpace Opens Asia-Pacific Office to Support Ongoing Growth

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Aug. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Morpace Inc., one of the fastest growing market research companies in the U.S., officially opens its Asia-Pacific office in Shanghai effective today, and has appointed Tong Zhou as Research Director.

Headquartered in Farmington Hills, Mich., Morpace currently has four full-service market research offices including Irvine, Calif. and London, England.  Morpace achieved revenue growth of more than 46 percent year-over-year according to the 2011 Honomichl Top 50 Report and its employee base has increased by 31 percent since January 1, 2010.

Morpace currently conducts research in more than 60 countries globally, with a strong presence in North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Australia and Africa. Its multi-national/multi-lingual professionals collectively are native in over 10 languages and fluent in more than 20. Its professionals have long term relationships with certified global suppliers including the ESOMAR certified network of international facilities for quantitative and qualitative research.

Based in Shanghai, Zhou will work with Meiling Shih, Morpace Vice President, Asia-Pacific.  Zhou’s key area of focus includes managing all research related activities in the Asia-Pacific region.  He will also help build the onsite staff in the Shanghai office to support its business growth.  Bryan Krulikowski, Vice President, Automotive will partner with Zhou on new business development to achieve overall revenue growth in the region.

Zhou spent the last two years completing his Masters Degree in the United States at Johns Hopkins University and previously served as General Manager and Research Director for Broadview Market Research Company in Shanghai.
