Detroit — “Couture Crowd” tickets for the Detroit Institute of Arts’ (DIA) Fash Bash® are sold out, organizers announced today. The “Couture Crowd” ticket level, limited to 100 couples at $500 a couple, includes priority reserved seating in the first two rows for the fashion show, along with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Tickets are still available at the remaining two levels: “Haute Seats,” limited to 300 individuals at $150 per ticket, includes general seating at the fashion show and cocktails and hors d’oeuvres; and “Fashionably Late,” at $75 per ticket provides access to the post-fashion show “Paparazzi Party After Glow.” “Haute Seats” tickets are close to selling out as well. Tickets are available online at www.dia.org.

Fash Bash® is presented by the Founders Junior Council (FJC), a young professionals auxiliary of the DIA in partnership with Neiman Marcus, and will be held on Thursday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. at the DIA. Proceeds will help the museum continue to provide the community with imaginative, high-quality programs and exhibitions.

Fash Bash® will take place at the museum for the first time in its 35-year history, bringing a sense of Detroit chic to the event. Guests will be treated to a one-of-a-kind evening of fashion, food and fun, including a Neiman Marcus “Art of Fashion” show in the DIA’s magnificent Great Hall and a pre- and post-fashion show cocktail party on the DIA’s front steps, celebrating summer nights and city lights. Additional details will be forthcoming.

Fash Bash chairpersons are Lindsay Huddleston and Lauren Rakolta.
