BIRMINGHAM, Mich., August 23, 2010 – The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber’s 7th annual fundraiser, Vine & Dine will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 6 – 9 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan. Join the Chamber and emcee Jackie Paige from Fox 2 News as we bring awareness to this important cause.

“Gleaners is grateful for the continued partnership with the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber,” said DeWayne Wells, president of Gleaners. “Every dollar this event raises provides three meals for a hungry neighbor. At a time of increasing need, especially in our suburban communities, this support is vital to help us achieve our mission.”

“It’s important that as the community need for food increases that we come together to respond to the call to fight hunger,” said Andrea Foglietta, marketing & event manager Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber. “Vine & Dine is an ideal event to share with family and friends or a great way to entertain clients, while supporting those in need.”
