DETROIT, February 05, 2009 – Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3), the Detroit-based global information technology services company, reported today earning $160 million in revenue for 2008, marking its 19th consecutive year of growth.

“Our results for 2008 are particularly gratifying and noteworthy in view of what happened to the U.S. and world economies,” said Cynthia J. Pasky, S3president and CEO. “We believe the results are very graphic proof of the fact that we know our customers, we customize our solutions and we over-deliver every time.”

More than a third of S3’s 25 international branch locations grossed more than $10 million each. The Charlotte and Detroit locations produced the most revenue, bringing in more than $20 million each.

“S3 is profitable and growing because we invest in our employees’ success,” Pasky said. “We are a fairly flat organization and our executive staff is here as a resource to our team members to help them build strong and lasting relationships with customers.”

S3 services a variety of industries with the financial services sector accounting for nearly 50 percent of the company’s annual revenue in 2008. The energy and retail and distribution industries are also high grossing customers.

In 2008 S3 received several prominent accolades including recognition as one of the country’s 50 fastest-growing women-led companies by Entrepreneur Magazine. Executive team members were also individually recognized; Pasky was featured as a Power Player in the Mecklenburg Times, a Charlotte-area business magazine, and Vice President Carl Bentley was listed as a Power Seller in Crain’s Detroit Business.
