Brasco International awarded contract in the state of Utah

DETROIT, February 09, 2009 – Detroit based Brasco International has been awarded a five-year agreement by the Utah Transit Authority located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The UTA services a 6 county, 1,400 square mile area with over 450 buses and nearly 1,000 vehicles. This five-year agreement commences December 2008 with deliveries beginning in 2009, with renewal options through 2012. Brasco has provided shelters to UTA in the past and have further solidified their position with this newest contract. Brasco General Manager Doug Pew says “We are very happy to have been awarded the business at UTA, they are a valued customer and this represents the fact that we build a quality shelter and have many repeat customers in the Transit Industry”. UTA also ordered and will be using the Brasco solar-powered LED lighting systems for their shelters.
