Detroit-based Dykema Names New Members

Dykema in Detroit has named Jarrod T. Smith and Dawn N. Williams members.

Smith is a public finance attorney in the firm’s Lansing office. Before joining Dykema, he was assistant attorney general with the Michigan attorney general’s office for more than 12 years. He earned his juris doctorate and bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

Williams, a new member in the Grand Rapids office, focuses her practice on financial services litigation and bank regulatory compliance. She represents clients on a variety of litigation matters, including claims relating to loan origination, foreclosure, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. She earned her juris doctorate from Wayne State University after completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Chicago.

Dykema has lawyers and other professionals in 13 U.S. offices.
