Comcast’s Plymouth Township location has announced a new vice president of sales and marketing and a new vice president of customer service strategy and operations.

Parvathy Hariharan will take over as vice president of sales and marketing for the company’s Heartland region, which includes Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. She spent the past three years as the Heartland region vice president of customer service strategy and operations.

“Parvathy’s insightful, strategic approach to the business, coupled with her ability to focus in on the smallest process details necessary to successfully execute a strategy, make her an excellent fit for this role,” says Tim Collins, senior vice president for Comcast’s Heartland region.

Hariharan was an engagement principal with Deloitte Consulting prior to joining Comcast. There, she led consulting projects including customer retention strategy, customer segmentation models, and sales and pricing strategies.

After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Madras in India, she completed a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University. She is a board member of the NAMIC Detroit and City Year Detroit chapters.

Lisa Kocsis-LeCureux has been promoted to vice president of customer service strategy and operations for the region, taking Hariharan’s place. She will also retain responsibility for Comcast’s project management office.

Kocsis-LeCureux will oversee a department that includes more than 4,000 employees and serves more than 1.9 million customers.

“Over the past eight years, Lisa has done an outstanding job overseeing many high-profile initiatives, including our one-gigabit internet rollouts across the region and a long list of new product launches and systems implementations,” says Collins. “Under her direction, we can continue bringing customer service and project management closer together for greater synchronization, which will ultimately help us make the customer experience our top product.”

After working part-time with Comcast as an administrative assistant while attending college, Kocsis-LeCureux started full-time as a marketing manager 28 years ago. She has taken on positions of increasing responsibility ever since.

Kocsis-LeCureux earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. She holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications and the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers.

Comcast is based in Philadelphia.
