The Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan Wednesday announced its 2019 executive committee. Robert M. Tedesco will serve as president of the Bingham Farms organization.

Tedesco is president, owner, and founder of Silverado Homes in Birmingham. He is the son of a residential home builder, graduated from Michigan State University’s construction program, worked for Michigan-based building companies, and founded his own company (Silverado?).

“We are fortunate to have Bob leading our team for 2019,” says Michael Stoskopf, CEO of the association. “His enthusiasm, professionalism, and perspective are great assets to our organization. I look forward to his presidency.”

Other members of the executive committee for 2019 include David Compo as first vice president; Ben Templeton as treasurer; Rino Soave as secretary; Tim Capaldi, Jason Minock, David Steuer, and Brian Szliter as vice presidents; and Philip Seaver as associate vice president. Lawrence Cohen is immediate past president.

The executive committee works to further the building industry’s relationship with municipal and county governments and provides representation in the state and national associations. It also oversees the association’s mission to provide education, information, programs, networking, political action, and other activities that advance the building industry, while working to make home ownership a reality for Michigan families.

The Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan and Apartment Association of Michigan are trade organizations representing 1,100 workers in the single family and multi-family residential construction industry. The Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan is affiliated with the Home Builders Association of Michigan in Lansing and the National Association of Home Builders in Washington, D.C.
