Sterling Heights-based COE Press Equipment has announced the appointment of Reid Coe to president. Coe replaces Hunter Coe who vacated the position in September to become CEO as he replaced their father John Coe.

In his new position as president, Coe will work with the executive team, overseeing that operations are aligned to effectively achieve the company’s growth strategies.

“Reid’s business acumen, dedication and creativity have been incredible assets to our company,” says Hunter Coe. “We’re excited to work together with our executive team to continue the industry leadership established by our father.”

Beginning in 2011, Reid Coe has been involved with various areas of the company’s operations having served as a member of the board, as an advisor, and in the warehouse. Additionally, he recently served as aftermarket regional sales manager where he was responsible for business development of the company’s technical training, preventative maintenance, and production support service offerings.

Established in 1976 by John Coe, COE is a family-owned business that designs and manufactures a complete line of premiere coil handling and servo roll feed equipment from stand-alone roll feeds, straighteners, reels, and cradles to complete integrated feed systems and cut-to-length lines. It supplies and services a variety of global markets and industries including automotive, appliance, lighting, metal processing, housewares, lawn and garden, contract stampers, tool and die builders, and others.
