Attorneys Kristy Steffani and Qiana Rivers have joined Potestivo & Associates PC, a law firm with offices in Rochester, Grand Rapids, and Chicago.
As an associate attorney in the Rochester office, Steffani will be primarily serving the bankruptcy department. Previously, she worked more than two years representing creditors in Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Prior to this role, Kristy served as an attorney and partner for Foundations Legal Group PLLC.
Steffani, of Pleasant Ridge, earned her Bachelor of Science in paralegal studies at Madonna University and her juris doctor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
Rivers is also located at the firm’s Rochester office, and will primarily be serving the foreclosure department. Previously, Rivers drafted legal documents and represented clients in bankruptcy, family law, and business law transactions.
She has also served as a research attorney for Honigman, Miller, Schwartz & Cohn. In this capacity, she researched federal statutes and prepared litigation for the firm’s international clients.
Rivers, of Detroit, earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science at Marygrove College and her juris doctor and master’s in public administration at Cleveland State University.
