Brian Rebain, architectural director for Detroit-based Kraemer Design Group PLC, a high-end architecture, interior design, and creative firm, has been appointed to the Michigan State Historic Preservation Review Board.
The Michigan State Historic Preservation Review Board is appointed by the governor and provides general advice, guidance, and professional recommendations to the State Historic Preservation Office. The board is composed of professionals in the fields of architecture, American history, architectural history, cultural geography, prehistoric and historic archaeology, historic preservation and related disciplines.
Rebain, a Qualified Historic Architect, has extensive experience as both a designer and consultant on numerous historic adaptive re-use projects both in Detroit and nationally. Recent notable projects include the David Whitney Building, John Varvatos, The Albert at Capitol Park and Eastern Market Shed 5.
Rebain, of Detroit, earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from the University of Michigan’s College of Architecture & Urban Planning.
