Oakland County is publishing a new interactive map blog to allow for residents and visitors to find outdoor activities around the county this winter.
“We are now offering an easy-to-use interactive map where you can click on an activity in your area and find out more about it,” says L. Brooks Patterson, Oakland County executive. “My administration encourages families to lead a healthier and more active lifestyle by getting off the couch and taking advantage of all the outdoor events Oakland County has to offer.”
Patterson says the interactive map blog also offers seasonal-appropriate tips for enjoying the outdoors.
The map includes areas such as trails, ice rinks, fishing locations, and others suggested for outdoor activity, according to the website.
