Giffels Webster Names New Partners

Giffels Webster, a Detroit-based consulting firm specializing in infrastructure services for public, private and institutional clients, has added three new partners to the company’s leadership team. They are:

Michael Kozak, is based Washington Township office and specializes in a mix of municipal, residential and commercial projects.

Kozak has nearly 15 years of civil engineering experience. He works on a variety of municipal, residential, and commercial projects, including multi-family condominiums to big box retail sites to senior living facilities. He has  experience with projects involving wetland and floodplain impacts.

Kozak, of Grosse Pointe Park, earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Lawrence Technological University.

Michael Marks, based in the Detroit headquarters and specializes in private, institutional and urban redevelopment projects.

Marks is a senior project manager and has nearly 15 years of civil engineering experience working with private, institutional and municipal clients. His projects include the evaluation, planning, design and construction administration of infrastructure projects for public and private roadways, parking facilities, water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, storm water management systems, and utility design.

Marks, of Grosse Pointe, earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Michigan State University.

Jason Mayer is a senior project manager and has more than 10 years of civil engineering experience working on private and municipal projects including design and construction administration of water mains, sanitary sewers, pump stations and storm water systems. His experience also includes site engineering, dredging, and floodplain reviews. He has performed detailed storm water modeling and analysis, and with the design of sanitary sewers, water mains and pump stations.

Mayer, of Waterford, earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Detroit.
