Detroit-based Sachse Construction completed nearly 180 projects in 2015 and increased its global footprint to 49 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada.

Sachse, which has 125 employees, completed 178 projects totaling more than one million square feet and $140 million in contracts. Sachse says noteworthy projects include retail tenant coordination for the Mall of San Juan in Puerto Rico, the new Michigan Humane Society facility in Detroit, Shinola’s new street-facing retail space in Washington D.C., and significant renovations to the Detroit Athletic Club.

Sachse says the company earned seven awards in 2015.
