Iwona Niec Villaire has been named as vice president and general counsel at Chassix, a global automotive supplier of precision casting and machining services, with offices in Southfield.
Villaire is responsible for providing legal guidance, direction, and oversight to corporate business development, financial agreements, corporate governance and compliance, commercial transactions, and employment matters.
Previously, Villaire was with Cooper-Standard Automotive Inc., where she served nearly 10 years as deputy general counsel and director of global compliance. Prior, she served as senior counsel with Federal Mogul Corp.
She earned her bachelor’s in psychology and master’s in education psychology from Wayne State University and her juris doctor from Wayne State University Law School.
