Beaumont in Farmington Hills Names New President

Constance O’Malley

Constance O’Malley has been named president of Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, formerly Botsford Hospital. She has more than 30 years of health care experience and began her career as a surgical nurse at Providence Hospital.

O’Malley, a registered nurse, is the fourth president of the hospital and the first woman in the role. Botsford General Hospital opened in 1965. O’Malley succeeds Paul LaCasse, D.O., who now serves as executive vice president of the post-acute care division and diversified business operations for Beaumont Health.

O’Malley, of Clarkston, served as vice president and chief operating officer of Beaumont Hospital in Troy. She was responsible for daily operations and ambulatory services. She previously served as vice president of surgical services, trauma, transplant and ambulatory services at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak with administrative responsibility for the Beaumont Medical Center in West Bloomfield.

O’Malley also held a variety of leadership positions with Ascension Health – St. John Providence Health System and Detroit Medical Center, including vice president of Clinical Services, chief nursing officer and chief operating officer. O’Malley serves on many nonprofit boards and previously led both the Oakland and Macomb County Medical Control Authorities as president. She has been a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives for nearly five years.

O’Malley earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Oakland University and a Master of Science in health service administration from Madonna University.

Matt Behnke, a CPA and chartered global management accountant, will serve as an assurance senior manager, and Daniel Clark, CPA will serve as an assurance principal.

Troy’s Ross Mortgage Adds Vice President, Four Other Employees

Ross Mortgage Corp., a full-service residential mortgage lender headquartered in Troy, announced the appointment of Theresa Sprague as vice president of branch growth and retention. The firm has also added Jason Sprague and his team of loan officers, Jon DeKoninck, Denise Huettner, and Tim Donner.
