SOUTHFIELD — Sara B. Rubino has joined Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss PC as an associate in the firm’s estate planning and probate practice group.
Rubino will focus her practice on probate litigation, special needs planning ,and elder law. She has experience litigating contested guardianships, conservatorships, estates, and trusts. She has also served as general counsel for large companies in the nonrprofit marketplace, and negotiated and drafted real estate, employment, and non-complete contracts. Previously, Rubino practiced at Estate Planning Legal Services PC and Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras PC.
Rubino belongs to the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and volunteers at the Birmingham Youth Assistance, Birmingham Optimists Club, Detroit Public Broadcasting System, Habitat for Humanity, and the Alzheimer’s Association – Detroit Chapter.
She received her bachelor’s from Central Michigan University and her juris doctorate from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law.
