DETROIT — Robert Cahill, president and CEO of Hospice of Michigan, has been appointed to the Harper University Hospital Board of Directors.
Cahill, who joined Hospice of Michigan more than 15 years ago, was named president and CEO in 2013. He has a background of hands-on experience in finance, operations, sales and marketing in a variety of industries, including health care, managed care, insurance, and banking/finance.
Cahill, of Northville, also serves on the National Hospice Work Board and Hospice of Michigan Foundation Board. He has also served on the boards of other community and professional organizations, including American Society of Employers, Detroit Economic Club, Michigan Hospice and Palliative Care Association Board, among others.
Before joining Hospice of Michigan, Cahill served as vice president of operations for Value Health’s Great Lakes region. Previoulsy, he was vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Insight Recovery Centers.
