MACKINAC ISLAND — Grand Hotel has named Kristen Charlton, a hospitality industry veteran, as sales manager with a focus on the southeast Michigan market.
Charlton will work from the hotel’s sales office in Okemos, along with Grand Hotel director of sales Annie Farrell. Previously, Charlton worked at the Winter Park Mountain Lodge in Winter Park, Colo., where she served as sales manager. She has worked in sales and management positions for several lodges and resorts in Colorado for the previous 10 years.
Charlton is a graduate of the Eli Broad Business School at Michigan State University.
