Franco Public Relations Promotes Account Executives

DETROIT —  Franco Public Relations Group, a Detroit-based public relations agency, has promoted Daniel Horn (far left) and Daniel Stocking (left) from assistant account executives to account executives.

Horn, far left, provides media relations and event planning services for several of Franco’s automotive, technology ,and professional services clients including American Hydrostatics, DataFactz and Grow Michigan. He also supports consumer and B2B social media programs for clients including the GM Renaissance Center and ITC Holdings Corp. Horn, of Grosse Pointe Park, is an active member of the Automotive Press Association. He earned a Bachelor of Science in advertising and public relations from Grand Valley State University.

Stocking, left, services Franco’s nonprofit and financial services clients, providing media relations, community relations, event planning, and social media support for The Salvation Army Eastern Michigan Division and Comerica Bank. He also led the successful media relations effort for last year’s Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest. Stocking holds a bachelor of applied arts in integrative public relations and a minor in marketing from Central Michigan University. Stocking, of Royal Oak, is frequently called on to speak to student groups on transitioning into a career in public relations. He is a graduate of the Detroit Regional Chamber’s “Discover. Engage. Transform,” program.

Both Horn and Stocking joined Franco as interns in 2012.
