AFPD Trade Ball at Suburban Collection Showplace

The Associated Food and Petroleum Dealers held its Trade Dinner and Ball at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Nearly 1,000 guests attended the event, which included an address by AFPD President and CEO, Auday Arabo.

The Michigan Humane Society hosted the 27th annual Bow Wow Brunch at the MGM Grand Detroit Hotel on April 17. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception, brunch, and live and silent auctions. Proceeds from the event assist the non-profit in finding homes for animals in need.

39th Annual Celebrity Chefs Dinner

Community Living Centers held its 39th annual celebrity chefs dinner at the Detroit Athletic Club on April 15. Fifteen metro Detroit chefs prepared a five-course meal while guests enjoyed entertainment, a silent auction, and a raffle. Community Living Centers serves metro Detroit adults and children with developmental disabilities and their families.

5th Annual Michigan Shines for Autism Gala

The DTE Foundation held its fifth annual Michigan Shines for Autism Gala at DTE Energy's headquarters in Detroit on April 16. The event raised more than $550,000 to support the work of the Autism Alliance of Michigan, and included a cocktail reception, dinner, raffle, and auction.
